To borrow Dubya's newest and most favoritest word, there is a kick-ass essay (say that fast five times) over at DKOS detailing the history of the first state, Caesar Rodney, signer of the Declaration of Independence, and a whole lot more. It's fascinating, informative, and witty.
Included is a poem about Rodney's overnight ride back to Philadelphia to be present at the signing. Very Paul Reveresque, in a way.
Go and read it, you'll like it. HERE.
More later.
