Suffering exhaustion at having to open and close the store - an eleven hour day - where the economy is having a big impact - and withdrawal for having to miss Sunday with friends at the Parrot, I came home and truly enjoyed a glass of Merlot followed an hour later by a bowl of cereal before showering and heading off to bed.
I woke up this morning to find a red fox on the lawn near the marshes (see the picture at left) which is the view from my window. That cheered me up.
And so it goes.
