Finished reading your two posts. Glad you've got your A.C. running again; your story reminded me of our experience in 2007.
They had to cut a hole in our ceiling to get to the A.C. - then told us it would cost $5400 to pull it out; replace it, etc.
Once it was done (it was 115 degrees each day they worked on it, while we stayed at a hotel), they left the ceiling 'on the floor' because they said they do NOT do 'ceiling work'. What a surprise.
So, we had to hire a carpenter to replace the ceiling hole - another $1,000.
As to the little cat picture, my son's cat (now deceased) was striped this way; this color, and had a 'distored' smile-face on her belly too. This one is amazingly symetrical - how cute!
I read your blog through my rss feeds when you post; you certainly have been a busy guy and holding down 2 jobs has to be very tiring.
I'm always delighted by your cheery remarks and approach to your life, and I see you like cooking as I do.
You could try using white wine instead of the orange juice; granted, not quite what 'perfect', but I'm sure you can modify that recipe and still come up with something quite tasty.
Your comments are welcome if they are positive and/or helpful. If they are simply a tirade or opinionated bullshit, they will be removed, so don't waste your time, or mine.
