Mary and I shared the same birthday, November 9th. Her passing represents another part of my past history that is now a memory.
BTW, sharing birthdays doesn't mean anything. I also shared the same birthday with Caral Sagan ("billions and billions of stars in the heavens!"), Hedy Lamarr ("Tondalaya want you!") and (are you sitting down?) Spiro Agnew (Mr. Nattering Nabobs of Negativism.) Exalted company indeed.
In case you're wondering, I'm making the passing of Mary Travers all about me. Would I do otherwise?
Remember the PP&M concert in Central Park? Yeah, it rained, but who cared.
When Van and I roomed together we always made sure we got home in time for Laugh In at 8 pm. I believe it was Wednesdays, but not sure since it was on NBC and we worked at CBS.
Your comments are welcome if they are positive and/or helpful. If they are simply a tirade or opinionated bullshit, they will be removed, so don't waste your time, or mine.
