Freeman, the Dorsey brothers and Benny Goodman. How's that for a fist-full of talent?
This was from Bix' last
session as a orchestra leader...and one of the saddest, as he was
"falling apart", due to alcoholism.
Well, it ain't "Singin' In The Rain," still, the song gives me a lift at times like this. Sun is due to make an appearance later in the day. We shall see.
