Sci-Fi Imagined Technology Now in a Single Pocket
Amazing. There are more of these, first imagined by science fiction writers, but many were designed for medical, scientific, and military uses. (Ever hear of 'Waldos'?) Just look at this!!!

I remember reading a romance book written in the 1800s about telegraphs. It envisioned some day each person being able to have in his or her pocket a mini telegraph so anyone could 'talk' to anyone else everywhere.
