I've been thinking the same thing for the past 3 weeks as the company has jerked everyone around with their lies and demands. The bastards ought to be in jail.
A BP spokesman was on with Candy Crowley (CNN) this afternoon and said the caping operation went "perfectly." Candy said to him "If the operation went perfectly then why is oil still gushing out?" This is like the doctors saying after a particularly difficult operation that the operation was a "complete success" in spite of the fact that the patient died.
Someone needs to go to prison for this crime. Everyone knows what happened. BP cut corners and saved money by not putting in a sufficient blow out mechanism and this is the result. Deregulation or no regulation is the reason why the Gulf will die. And mark my words, this is a bigger catastrophe than 9/11.
But complaining about this crime is like pissing in the wind. Nothing changes and you're soaked with your own piss.
