  2. Man, that's some list. Many on it I don't even know what they are. If I were more mobile I guess I could travel more and learn all about these foods.
    I'm going to think twice before I invite you over for a very mundane American meal.

  3. Lapsang souchong you may have had if you have ate in any bad chinese restaurants.

    In our house we have the expression "I am so hungry I could eat snake".
    Like you I have never had any. I don't intend to have any.

  4. I DID eat snake - once. I was in TexASS and 15 years old. Like that old Sondheim song "I never do anything twice" and while in many cases I have, not in this one.

  5. After reading this I suddenly realize that my culinary life has been a sheltered on. Living in New York it's not as if I don't have opportunities.
    Say, when are you coming up to the city again? Maybe we could have lunch together some place exotic, at least exotic for me.
