Late afternoon.
At the old apartment.  don’t ask.
Weak, elated, overwhelmed confused.
Walking in the open a startling contrast to walking hallways.
New Meds to supersede old Meds.  No energy to sort it out then.

Clean apartment.  Clean, fresh sheets.
Cold and bewildered. Very weak.
Had a cup of soup and was put to bed.
Glorious sleep.

Awake now. Time to unpack, regroup and reassess.
Only just realized that the clocks weren't turned back one hour. Bother!
Too early for such activity. Rest more.

So much to write about. Get thoughts organized first.
I am still here.

  1. so you clicked your heels together and said "there's no place like home" AND IT WORKED!
    rest and speak later, dear.

  2. Glad you are home Cajun!
    Rest well, gain strength, smile.

  3. Very welcome home, C. Back for good, we all hope. Lots of us extremely relieved to have you there. Recuperate well!

  4. You are a survivor. Good news that you're home. Rest and recover now.

  5. Yes, you are amazing in many ways. I'm glad you're home - I'm sure the nursing staff is going to miss you.
    Please rest and take care,

  6. Can't fathom what you must be going through, physically and emotionally. My hat is off to you, sir and I wish you all the best in the days and weeks ahead as you continue to recover.
